Sipe Santapukki and Minna Kauppi renovated an old, pre-war apartment building into their dream city home.
When designing the home, they had a few specific wishes for the flooring – herringbone flooring, real, natural materials and a colour that was pleasing to the eye and matched the style of the rest of the home. Trinity’s lock-point herringbone flooring was finally chosen.
“The floor is the largest single visible surface in the home and therefore requires special attention. Trinity plank was exactly what we were looking for; beautiful, high quality and durable. We knew we had made the right choice, but we were surprised by the end result. We are more than happy,” say Santapukki and Kauppi about their new floor.
Timeless and classic
Rosanna Kulju bought a renovated home of about 50 square metres in Helsinki. She started planning the renovation from the floor, as it would determine the interior design of the rest of the apartment.
When designing the floor, he decided that it should glow with light and be timeless and classic in design. Rosanna ordered free Trinity sample tiles to help her design her home, but it was a visit to the Novafloor showroom that finally confirmed the decision. The product of choice was Trinity Tammi Stonewash herringbone parquet.
“You can walk on this floor without shoes, without slippers, but just as it is, because it’s really warm and feels so precious,” Rosanna says about her new floor.
