Parador Modular One is the flooring industry’s most innovative innovation. It combines the look and feel of stone tiles with the durability, warmth and ease of maintenance of vinyl flooring.

Modular One vinyl cork flooring meets the highest ecological and clean room air requirements. Naturally, no plastic buffers or PVC are used in the manufacture of the floor. Modular One is manufactured in Germany, using German raw materials. This vinyl flooring is truly “Made in Germany”.

LOOKS LIKE A REAL STONE FLOOR, BUT IS WARM AND PLEASANT TO THE TOUCH

The Modular One cork vinyl tile flooring pattern is a warm and very comfortable floor covering for the feet. The vinyl floor looks like a real stone slab and the surface feels exceptionally comfortable to the touch.

The resilient surface and the layer of natural cork on the bottom of the vinyl floorboard add to the comfort and quietness of the floor. For a complete acoustic experience, we also recommend our Silence underlay for installation under the Modular One floor. Your new Modular One floor will then be a complete ensemble.

Modular One vinyl tiles are 400 mm wide and 853 mm long. The large size of the tiles makes the room very calm, and really impressive. The edges of the tiles are slightly bevelled, which further enhances the tile-like look of the floor. The floor is very easy to keep clean.

ECOLOGICAL AND PVC/THALATE-FREE VINYL FLOORING

Modular One is the best that vinyl flooring can offer. Made entirely from raw German materials, free of PVC and plastic plasticizers, it is ideal for both domestic and public spaces. The traditional PVC surface has been replaced by a well-researched, PP coating.

The PP plastic coating makes the floor not only emission-free, but also highly resistant to wear and moisture. In addition, the vinyl backing sheet is elastic and moisture-resistant, making Modular One flooring suitable for use in damp areas, for example next to a shower cubicle.

Modular One floors are certified for room air. This is evidenced by the German Blauer Engel certification, the international Floorscore certificate and the Klasse A+ and TÜV certifications.

DEMAND THE BEST – CHOOSE MODULAR ONE

The era of so-called “umpivinyls” made of PVC is finally over. Modular One is a new generation of vinyl flooring that can be highly recommended for Finnish living. Modular One has a very stable structure and will not swell when, for example, sunlight heats up the floor in summer.

The resilient material is also suitable for installation on slightly uneven subfloors, for example when renovating rooms. In many cases, vinyl flooring can be installed without the need for a separate step sound mat under the floor. If the floor is to be installed on a concrete substrate, at least a vapour barrier should be placed between the vinyl and the concrete. On dry substrates such as plasterboard and chipboard, the vinyl can be installed directly.

EASIEST TO INSTALL

This floor is also the easiest vinyl to install that we have ever encountered. The weakness of thin vinyl flooring is often the flimsy and small locking point. Modular One vinyl flooring is as much as 8 mm thick, which allows for a decent sized and wide point to fit into the floor board, making installation much easier, especially for first time installers of lock point flooring. To install a cork stone floor you only need a couple of tools, the most important of which are a good saw and a tape measure.
