Novafloor New Classics Oak Light Chocolate 1-strip oil varnished & brushed parquet

We are proud to present the new Novafloor parquet range, where domesticity and top quality meet in a completely new way. 

Novafloor New Classics parquet is 185 mm wide and 2.2 metres long.

PARQUET WITH DOMESTIC SURFACE TREATMENT

We at Novafloor were looking for a new parquet floor where, in addition to the highest quality, the most important feature is uncompromising beauty and the emphasis on the vitality of the genuine material.

To achieve this, we took the lead and started refining our own signature parquet in Vaasa. The New Classics parquet board is manufactured for us by Parador of Germany, whose quality has proven to be excellent over our long collaboration.

The surface brushing and surface treatment of Novafloor parquet with Saicos oil wax is done by us in Vaasa on our surface treatment line. Thanks to our own processing line, our delivery times are short and we can also handle small order quantities.

UNCOMPROMISING BEAUTY

The beauty of Novafloor oak flooring is created on our own surface treatment line in Vaasa. We start by brushing the wood grain of the parquet board to bring out the natural feel of the oak and bring out the best of the wood. The lightly brushed surface feels real underfoot and is very beautiful.

Novafloor parquets are surface treated with Saicos oil wax. Saicos gives the wood excellent protection and brings out the best in the wood floor. Oil varnished Novafloor parquet is real wood flooring at its best.

The surface treatment is easy to maintain and durable. When the parquet wears out over time, it can be restored to its beautiful appearance with a treatment of oil. Pallmann floor care products are used for floor care and cleaning.

All edges of this parquet are bevelled. When the boards are joined together, they form an impressive V-edge. The edge trim does not affect the cleanliness of the floor and the edge trim gives the floor a plank-like appearance.

NATURAL WOOD ASSORTMENT

Parquet is manufactured using wood appearance classifications – wood species classifications that indicate the vitality of the wood material used.

This parquet is available in Classic oak. The variety is sparse, and the individual knots are small in size. There is moderate variation in the natural shade and lightness of the oak.  

SURFACE STRENGTH AND DURABILITY

The top layer of the parquet is 3.6 mm solid wood. The parquet surface can be sanded 1-2 times. After sanding, the parquet can also be stained to a different colour than the original colour of the parquet.

A major advantage of Novafloor parquet is the factory impregnation of the top layer, which provides ideal protection against moisture. The edges of each oak surface are moisture-proofed in the factory before the board is assembled. This ensures that the floor retains its performance characteristics for many years.

INSTALLATION AND UNDERFLOOR HEATING

Novafloor parquet uses PARADOR’s patented Automatic-Click locking system. This locking point is quick and easy to install, even if you are not familiar with the installation of parquet. Novafloor parquet is suitable for both water-circulated underfloor heating and electric systems. The important thing to remember with electric underfloor heating is that the heat must be even. Heating with night-time electricity alone is not recommended.

For Novafloor New Classics parquet, Silence is used as a subfloor, Silence 15 for concrete and Silence 20 for dry floors. Normal wood glue is applied to the lock point at the time of installation. This ensures that any unevenness in the subfloor does not cause the pont to creak.

The installation of Novafloor parquet is also made easier by the exceptionally good installation instructions, which are of course in Finnish. The installation instructions are always supplied with the floor.
